Terms and Conditions

Payment: Payment must be made via bank transfer using our online booking system for all classes and Clubs in Schools. No cheques please. We expect payment no later than the SECOND lesson of the term. If for any reason payment has not been made after the second lesson in the term, a £7 late fee will be added to your invoice. All payments are to be made termly.


Dates and Times: Please note we only operate on a term time basis so when schools are open we are open and any relevant holidays such as Easter, Summer and Half Term we are closed except in the event of a holiday club. We run alongside Warwickshire School Term Dates.


Discipline: We expect a certain level of behavior in classes, therefore if a child is disruptive on a regular basis they will be asked to leave and no refund will be given. Students are always expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner whilst attending our classes and be respectful to all teachers and fellow pupils . This will ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone. Any form of bullying including electronic bullying (text, snapchat, facebook etc) is strictly prohibited at Bounce and Beat and will not be tolerated.


Illness: In the event of a serious illness from the instructor a refund will be given or a date will be offered to make up the missed class. If a child is ill then no refund will be given.


Cancellation: If a booked place is cancelled by the customer, no refund can be given. If a class is cancelled by Bounce and Beat a full refund will be given for the class missed or a session will be added to make up for it. Please note any session which is cancelled out of our control will not be refunded. In the event of another Lockdown due to Covid-19, all classes will automatically resume on ‘Zoom’.


Photography and Social Media: It is your responsibility to make an instructor aware if you do not wish for photographs to be taken of your child. Photographs are used for promotion, marketing and performance leaflets.

It is your responsibility to make an instructor aware if you do not wish for photographs/videos of your child to be used on our social media pages. Images are used for promotion and marketing. Only first names will be used on social media and no school uniform will be present.

In a nursery or school setting the instructor will not have their phone on them other than for emergencies in an after school club only and under no circumstances must the instructor take photos in any sessions unless certain parents have signed a disclosure form.


Team Classes: When enrolling in one of our team classes you are agreeing to play a role as part of a team by being consistent in your attendance in class and performances, ensuring time management is accurate and leading an example. Failure to do this may comply in refusal to enter class.


Child Pick Up at After School Clubs: If for any reason your child is being picked up by someone other than a parent you must send us a text message on 07837003626 on the day, to let us know who we are to send your child home with. Failure to do this will result in an instructor waiting with your child until a parent arrives and a late pick up fee will be due. If your child is allowed to walk home alone or meet at the school gates you must let us know beforehand in writing.


Data Protection: Following the new GDPR data protection guidelines 2018 we must make you aware of what personal information we have on file and what we use it for. We hold personal details such as name, date of birth, medical information, emails and bank account number for payment (if paying by BACCS). All of this information is held only by Ruby Baigent, on an encrypted mobile phone and any paper copies are secured in a private locked cabinet. Emergency contact numbers are also held by the principal and also our instructors present in lessons for emergency reasons only. Personal Information is used to send out all relevant class information and as a way of contacting you in any event such as late payment, cancelled class, illness etc. We also use your information for Bounce and Beat marketing and date of births for performance licenses. On behalf of a school/nursery setting you a agreeing to us holding your key information such as email address and contact number for the setting. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to us holding all relevant personal information needed for 2 years at most and you are agreeing to receive all emails and marketing information from Bounce and Beat. You do have the option to ‘opt out’ of receiving our emails however this will mean we are unable to contact you in any circumstance and you will not receive any information from Bounce and Beat.


Health and Safety: All of our instructors are first aid and safeguarding trained. By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are allowing us permission to guide your child in their technique which may mean handling the child (i.e. aiding a cartwheel.) First Aid Kits are always present except in a nursery setting where nursery staff are also present in the sessions.

Uniform: Uniform is required, and this will be made relevant to you on enrolment in a certain class. Hair must be off the face at all times and jewellery must be removed unless told otherwise. Appropriate clothing and footwear for the performance style must always be necessary.

Child Protection: Teachers have to adhere strictly to all Child Protection Policies, and we ask that parents do the same. Please note there will be times when postural and technical corrections have to be made by physical contact, and this, of course, will be kept to an absolute minimum. However, it is impossible to teach dance without any physical contact, and we would like to make parents aware of this.

Lost Property, Mobile Phones & Tablets: The school will not be liable for any losses or damages.
